Greetings,
As a member of the Gettysburg community I'm proud to be running for School Board in the Gettysburg Area School District. Being a retired public school teacher with 30 years of experience in the classroom and 15 years as a varsity coach, I have seen firsthand how school board policies and decisions that don’t prioritize student needs can affect the culture of an entire school
or even the community.
I am committed to working with students, staff, parents and the community to ensure that our students are provided with the safe, inviting and stimulating environment which they deserve.
In order to serve the GASD community I promise to:
* Visit our schools on a regular basis to listen to our teachers, administrators and support staff in order to identify their needs and concerns.
* Maintain an open line of communication between myself, parents and all other stakeholders in the community in order to inform my positions on supporting and improving the
Gettysburg Area School District.
* Never vote to raise your taxes unless the school board, in good faith, has explored options other than placing the burden solely on the taxpayers of our community.
The General Election is November 4, 2025. Make a plan to VOTE!
